The variety entertainment show “Invincible Baseball Team” held the “Comic Golden Glove Awards Ceremony” on KBS2 on December 26. In the ceremony, certain cast members’ impressive performances were brought to the viewers’ attention.
The members of the Invincible Baseball Team showed off their own impressive performances after baseball players Ryu Hyun-jin (Hanwha Eagles), Kim Ju-chan (Lotte Giants), Hong Sung-Heon (Lotte Giants), Kim Hyun-su (Doosan Bears) displayed their hidden talents.
For the first performance, “Buble Joon” Kim Joon and Han Min-gwan, together with team leader Park Ji-young, presented a splendid show as they sang Baek Ji-young’s hit song “Candy in My Ear.” Viewers paid close attention to their special efforts in the dancing despite a few awkward motions.
In addition, Lee Ha-neul, Lee Hyun-bae, Kim Chang-ryeol, and Marco gave a special show, parodying the song “Abracadabra” from the female group “Brown Eyed Girls.” They named their rendition “Guys with Concerned Faces,” and impressed spectators with their “Arrogant Dance.” Kim Chang-ryeol and Marco parodied a dance by Ga-in, and Lee Ha-neul showed an impressive parody of “Single Ladies” by singer “Beyonce.”
In the last performance, Oh Ji-ho and Cho Bin passionately sang a song by group “Norazo.” People burst out laughing upon Oh Ji-ho’s awkward singing. Baek Ji-young made people laugh when she said that Oh Ji-ho is a handsome and good baseball player, but that he was amusing.
In the ceremony, Oh Ji-ho won the Gran-Prix as he became the number 4 hitter of the Invincible Baseball Team in spite of a sore back.
